=== PhD position in computer sciencefor Immersive Analytics of molecular
dynamics simulations ===
*Please forward to anyone who may be interested*

The Konstanz Research School Chemical Biology (KoRS-CB) has an open call
for applications at
https://www.chembiol.uni-konstanz.de/application/application-projects/
including a fully funded (100% TVL13) PhD student position for Immersive
Analytics of molecular dynamics simulations.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Molecular dynamics simulations (MDS) are important to understand
biomolecular systems and materials. MDS produce large amounts of complex
data representing spatial and/or temporal changes.
The aim of this project is therefore to apply and further develop
suitable immersive analytics methodology and to create an integrated
tool that allows to perform the analytics workflow interactively in the
same environment, e.g. using augmented reality devices.

For this interdisciplinary project, we are looking for a highly
motivated PhD candidate with a strong computer science background in
order to carry out research at the intersection of chemistry, biology,
and computer science.

APPLICATION AND ENQUIRIES

Application deadline: 15 July
Application web page: https://korscb.glowbase.com/

For further information, please contact us by e-mail.

Kind regards,
Karsten Klein
