Submissions for InfoVis 2004

Formatting Requirements for submitted papers.

Submit InfoVis Paper through IEEE.

6 April 2004 update: Final formatting information posted. We will accept submissions in either the old or new formats, but the camera-ready versions of accepted papers will need to be in the new format. The main difference between the two is that the new one has a more concise citation style, namely "The flaws in previous work include anger management and drunkenness [1]." rather than the verbose "The flaws in previous work include anger management and drunkenness [Rumpelstiltskin and Slivovitz 1996]."

Poster Submission

Authors should electronically submit a 2 page summary paper of the work, andan optional accompanying digital video. The summary paper should follow the Formatting Requirements for submitted papers.

1. First, upload your files at ftp://north.cs.vt.edu/ with login "anonymous". You will not be able to read files on this site, only upload. Submit the 2-page paper as a pdf file, using the primary author's name as the file name: lastname-firstname.pdf. Submit optional video files using the same naming convention, with appropriate suffix. If submitting multiple video files, add numbers to the file names as needed.

2. Then, send an email to Poster Co-chair Chris North north@vt.edu containing your contact information and a list of the file names you uploaded.
