We are excited to announce a postdoctoral position in Generative AI-Driven Data Synthesis for Building Energy Modeling at Linköping University, Sweden. Join our team at the Department of Science and Technology, Division for Media and Information Technology (iVis unit, led by Prof. Kerren), Campus Norrköping.

About the Position:
The postdoc will work on a newly started interdisciplinary project focusing on exploring the AI based generation and use of synthetic data for improving predictions of energy performance of buildings as well as the development of methods for responsible use of AI.

Work responsibilities will include development of AI modelling approaches for synthetizing energy use related data, investigation of visual analytics approaches for model understanding and bias detection, engagement in interdisciplinary research combining technical, socio-technical and ethical aspects of energy use and synthetic data.
