We are looking for a Ph.D. candidate that will be involved in a research project related to the user-centered visualization of large and complex, multivariate data derived from various sensors and/or performance counters/indicators. The successful Ph.D. candidate should develop and evaluate fundamental visualization and interaction techniques, and visual analytics tools for exploring and analyzing multivariate data from various sources, such as IoT sensors or various performance counters collected for game analytics purposes. The work might also include the development of necessary tools for gathering the data as well as building the necessary infrastructure to serve the designed prototypes and manage potential data streams.

The main duties of Ph.D. students are to devote themselves to their research studies which include participating in research projects and third-cycle courses (no less than 80%). The work duties may also include teaching and other departmental duties (no more than 20%). The project involves regular business trips to meetings with our project partners and to international conferences.
