University of Nottingham (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/) is a top research university in UK (ranked 7th in 2021). The School of Computer Science is currently offering 10 PhD scholarships for students starting in 2023 (https://jobs.nottingham.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=SCI2122).

The Visualization, Text Analytics, and Graphics Group (VisTAG) group covers all areas within visualisation, including graphics, infovis, visual analytics, and their applications to data science and machine learning (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/computerscience/research/visualization-and-computer-graphics/visualization-and-computer-graphics.aspx).
