IEEE AIVR 2022 - Call for workshops & special sessions
5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence & Virtual Reality
December 12-14, 2022 (online plus on-location satellite events)

IEEE AIVR is a unique event, addressing researchers and industries from all areas of AI as well as Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality. It provides an international forum for the exchange between those fields, to present advances in the state of the art, identify emerging research topics, and together define the future of these exciting research domains.
*CALL FOR WORKSHOPS*
Workshops are an important part of IEEE AIVR and complement the main program. They offer the opportunity to discuss topics related to AR/VR and AI more focussed, explore new research directions and novel applications, and provide excellent opportunities for networking. They typically feature regular paper presentations, but also other forms of interaction such as invited talks, panels, demos, and hands-on sessions.

*CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS*
Special sessions provide organizers with an opportunity to host a session about a dedicated topic related to the conference as part of the technical program. They are integrated into the main program in the same way as regular sessions and typically feature technical paper presentations but can also contain other types of presentations such as invited talks or panels.

*DEADLINES & PROCEDURE*
Submissions are processed immediately on a case-base. Thus, please submit your proposal at your earliest convenience to allow for sufficient time to set up and prepare your workshops and special sessions.
