Join our team now in the Corporate Technology division as

** Research Scientist (m/f) - Visual Analytics in München. **

Your new role -
challenging and future-oriented
. Design and implement solutions in the field of visual analytics
. Interact independently with the various stakeholders, document and present work results
. Support project definition and acquisition of research and development projects
. Contribute to strategy and technology development of the research group with invention disclosures and to the publication of research results at international conferences
. Evaluate new trends and new application areas for visual analytics
. Supervise students and trainees
. Accept responsibility for the setup and extension of one or two building blocks of our visual analytics offer
. Initiate, participate and manage research projects funded by relevant national and international funding bodies and cooperation with universities and research institutes

Your qualifications -
solid and appropriate
. University degree (PhD degree is plus) in computer science, bioinformatics or mathematics with a special focus on visual analytics
. Long-term experience with technologies, algorithms and methodologies in the areas of visual analytics
. Experience in analyzing large amounts of data, in particular from structured and semi-structured data, and in the field use of data analytics / machine learning
. Experience in the conceptual design of IT solutions for business intelligence or visual analytics solutions
. Experience in IT-technology, software engineering, web technology, SQL- and NoSQL data base, data ware house, ETL, stream processing is appreciated
. Proficient language skills in both English and German
