Following the Meetup at VIS'15 in Chicago, which aimed to form a female
mentoring network for minorities in VIS, we have created a dedicated
mailing list for the group.

To subscribe, visit:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/women-in-vis

or send an email to:

women-in-vis+subscribe at googlegroups.com

The mailing list will strictly serve this mentoring network.

In contrast, for those interested generally in issues related to women in
VIS, we recommend:

“The 5 Biases Pushing Women out of STEM”, J.C. Williams

Anita Borg Institute’s Insights & Tools (how to recruit, retain, advance
women technologists)

On the benefits of exclusively female fora
