InfoVis 2007 - Call for Tutorials The IEEE Visualization / InfoVis conference is soliciting proposals for half-day tutorials. The meeting is in Sacramento and tutorials will be presented on Oct. 28-29. Though InfoVis researchers have given tutorials before, this is the first year InfoVis tutorials are represented on the organizing committee, so we want to make sure to get the best, most interesting proposals. Full-day tutorials should be broken into two half-day sections, perhaps aimed at different levels of expertise. If you're interested, please submit a proposal. The deadline is April 30. Tutorial presenters will be offered a $1000 honorarium to be shared by the speakers, and two free registrations to IEEE Visualization. For further information, visit: vis.computer.org/vis2007/tutorials_c.html from which you can find other information about the meetings.
