Call for Papers, Videos and Participation
Proceeding will be published by IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY 

This symposium will consist of presentations and discussion of
applications, techniques and novel approaches that demonstrate and
reflect upon synergies between Geovisualization and Information
Visualization.

In particular we request reflective contributions in the following areas:
- examples of inter-disciplinary collaboration
- use and novel application of:
  - Information Visualization techniques with spatial data
  - spatial data in Information Visualization examples / applications
- case studies in :
  - decision support
  - education
  - specific domains (such as those listed above)
- evaluation :
  - formal evaluations
  - evaluation methodologies
- theoretical and technical work that documents or supports these
  synergies including:
  - software architectures / apis
  - theoretical frameworks
  - typologies
